Reichstag
The Reichstag building in Berlin, designed by Paul Wallot in 1894, is a historic and iconic structure that has undergone significant changes throughout its history. It has been burned, bombed, rebuilt, and reinforced by the Berlin Wall. In 1999, it was transformed into the modern home of the German parliament, the Bundestag. The striking glass dome can be accessed by lift, but reservations must be made in advance.
