Berlin Philharmonie
A night at the Berlin Philharmoniker's home venue is a dream come true for classical music enthusiasts. The Philharmoniker is consistently voted among the top two or three symphony orchestras in the world.
The concert hall, which is known for its unique tent-like roof, opened in 1963 on the southern edge of the Tiergarten. At the time, it was located in a barren area created by the Berlin Wall, but today it is situated in the heart of the city's cultural district as a member of the Kulturforum ensemble of renowned cultural venues.
